WHERE EVERYTHING BEGINS

FIRST STEP- DEVELOPMENT

Development is where you meet our lovely team. It’s the first stage when we meet with our clients to discuss their project to make sure we get the best potential outcome. This is everything from a simple briefing, intense brainstorming, concept development and planning, and ensuring everybody is on the same page.
With Winking Owl’s creative team you’ll be looking at ideas, goals, a plan, timeline, and budget.

SECOND STEP- PREPRODUCTION

This is where we start getting creative and prepare everything needed in order to have a successful video/ film shoot– creating the storyboard, visual planning, scouting the best locations, crafting the script, preparing a production schedule, auditioning talent and so on. It’s really the foundation of building the project and important to spend appropriate time here to get all those decisions right.

MAKING THE MAGIC

STEP THREE- PRODUCTION

This is Winking Owl’s show time! The production is the moment where all the pre-production and development stage takes flight and turns into something magical for everything you planned. All the work we have done to date, with the scripts, visual planning etc. comes together. This is when we roll camera, shoot, create the animations, and voice over, etc..

PUTTING THE BITS TOGETHER

STEP FOUR- POST PRODUCTION

Post-production is after the shooting took place and we put it all together. Here we turn something special into something final. In this phase, we edit the video, motion graphics, add music, audio effects, and the voice over, and adjust sound and color; add titles and credits; create special effects; create publicity materials; and release the project for the target audience. It’s when all the hard work comes together.

IT’S SHOW TIME

STEP FIVE: MARKETING

It’s time to show the project to its audience. If there’s one thing we like at Winking Owl as much as creating amazing work, it’s getting the product to the audience who needs to see it! So we’ll shift our efforts to the marketing plan our team drafted for our client back in the beginning of the process. What channels and social media platforms do you want yours to be on? This could include format, lengths of video etc.
